Noah Lancaster- Character Comic Strip

After studying different styles, I applied what I had learned to make a piece of one of my original characters, Noah. Noah, originally from Earth, got separated from his friends when he got suddenly transported to a magical dimension. Already aware of his magical abilities, he searches for someone to help him master his skills so he can find his way home.

Iceman- Style Study #1

When I got my first comic book, I was blown away by how outstanding the art was. Because of this, I decided I would study their style so I could make pieces that I enjoyed looking at. This was the first piece that I made because of this study. Though I tried to leave out a lot of fan art (as it doesn’t showcase my ability to create original characters), I wanted to include this one because I am proud of how I was able to learn a new style and adapt to it.

Style Study #2

Though I personally enjoy the first style study more, I included this one to showcase that I was able to stay consistent with the style after I learned it. I was also getting better at lettering in this piece.

Smokebomb- First Digital Art Piece

Though this is far from being my best piece, I wanted to include it to show my progress in digital art. When I first bought my art tablet, I immediately downloaded Krita so I could get started. This was the first piece I made on this tablet. While it isn’t a great piece compared to some of my other works, I like looking back on it to see how much I’ve grown.

Echo- Character Poster

Like my Smokebomb piece, this piece of Echo isn’t my most skillful, but I wanted to include because it was one of the first times I had made a character from scratch and made a poster for them. This character was also my most fleshed out.
